Since she was a young child she was always incouraged to create art. She had a mother that was very artistic and a father that was very supportive and encouraging in her many artistic prusuits.
Some of Trisha's artistic adventures outside of glass have included designing jewelry, crocheting and knitting, painting, scrapbooking, any kind of holiday craft, and recently kumihimo braiding to name a few.
Several years ago Trisha was designing jewelry and had discovered the beauty in handmade lampwork beads. Naturally she thought to herself, "Wow! I need to learn how to do this." With the aid of books from her local library and the mass of information on the internet she studied the art of glass bead making. She saved up some money and was able to purchase her start up kit that included a hot head torch. With the knowledge of what she had read she taught herself how to make glass beads. From that first wonky bead she made she was hooked.
